Have you ever looked out of an airplane window and wondered what adventures might be waiting on the other side of the clouds?
Hi! I’m Larry, a curious rescue cat with a suitcase, a passport full of stamps (well… almost!), and a big dream: discovering the world one journey at a time.
I’ve travelled through airports, explored mountains, met amazing friends, and learned that every trip becomes even more special when we use our imagination.
Today I’d like to share my favourite activities to make every flight a little more magical for young explorers.
Let’s fasten our seatbelts!
1. Become an Airplane Detective 🕵️
Every flight is full of little mysteries.
Can you find:
- Someone wearing a red hat?
- A teddy bear?
- A blue backpack?
- A smiling flight attendant?
- A tiny cloud shaped like an animal?
The first one to spot five things wins!
2. Create Your Own Adventure Story 📖
Look out of the window.
What do you see?
Maybe that cloud is actually a sleeping dragon.
Perhaps the tiny river below leads to a hidden castle.
Every journey can become a brand-new story.
3. Draw Your Dream Destination 🎨
Take a pencil and a notebook.
Draw the place you hope to visit.
Will it have beaches?
Mountains?
Snow?
Or maybe… lots of cats?
4. Count the Clouds ☁️
Some clouds look like animals.
Others look like castles.
How many different shapes can you find before landing?
5. Travel Bingo ✈️
Can you spot…
✅ A pilot
✅ A passport
✅ An airport bus
✅ A mountain
✅ Another airplane
It’s even more fun if the whole family plays together.
6. Learn Five Words in a New Language 🌍
Travelling means meeting new people.
Before landing, learn five simple words in the local language.
You could start with:
Hello.
Thank you.
Please.
Goodbye.
Friend.
People always appreciate a smile—and a kind word.
7. Invent a New Animal 🐾
What happens if you mix…
…a cat…
…with a giraffe…
…and a penguin?
Draw it!
Give it a funny name.
What does it eat?
Where does it live?
You might invent a creature no one has ever seen before.
8. Keep a Travel Journal 📔
Every adventure deserves to be remembered.
Write down:
- Where you’re flying.
- Who you’re travelling with.
- Your favourite moment.
- Something new you discovered.
One day you’ll love reading it again.
9. Make Someone Smile 😊
This is my favourite challenge.
Smile at someone.
Say thank you.
Help your parents.
Wave to a child.
Kindness travels farther than any airplane.
10. Dream About Your Next Adventure ❤️
Every trip ends…
…but another one is always waiting.
Maybe your next adventure will be in another country.
Maybe just in your own garden.
Because adventures aren’t measured in kilometres.
They’re measured by curiosity.
